From 28th to 31st January, Samoëns will host a stage of the Telemark World Cup. 3 days of classic and sprint events where the best athletes in the world will be gathered!
Telemark is one of the oldest skiing techniques invented in Norway at the end of the 19th century and is located between Alpine and Cross-country skiing. The host of this competition is located in the authentic mountain village of Samoëns.
A sport that combines technical nature and elegance with its free heel technique that allows you to make harmonious turns.
During 3 days, different challenges await you:
- The classic Sprint in two races of about 1 minute each: giant slalom, a Loom (360° turn) and a Nordic course
- The classic in a single round of 3 to 4 minutes: giant slalom, Nordic course, 2 Looms, 2 jumps and 2 skating.
Local champions Argeline Tan-Bouquet and Noé Claye will play at home!
Come and cheer on the champions of one of the most beautiful sports in the world!
