The Lac Blanc
The hike to Lac Blanc, accessible from either La Flégère (gondola open from October 19 to November 11) or Col des Montets, is one of Chamonix’s most iconic trails. In approximately two to three hours, the path winds through alpine meadows and forests, offering breathtaking views of the Mont-Blanc massif. Perched at an altitude of 2,352 meters, the lake reveals crystal-clear blue waters reflecting the surrounding peaks. In autumn, the golden hues of the trees and the serene atmosphere make for an unforgettable experience.
The Aiguille du Midi
In autumn, the Aiguille du Midi offers a unique and magical experience, far from the summer crowds. By taking the cable car that takes you up to 3,842 meters, you’ll discover breathtaking panoramas of Mont-Blanc and surrounding peaks, bathed in the season's golden hues. The Chamonix Market
Every Saturday morning, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m, the Chamonix market fills Place du Mont-Blanc with life. You’ll find local products, delicious cheeses, artisanal charcuterie, and numerous stalls offering a glimpse into the life of Chamonix.
The Chamonix Photo Festival
From October 19 to November 3, the Chamonix Photo Festival invites photography enthusiasts to discover captivating exhibitions, workshops, and conferences highlighting the beauty of the Alps and other horizons. The Chamonix Pioneers match
